TEAM UP PRESENTS GIGS4GOOD WITH VICTOR SHADE, DJ B-MELLO & FRIENDS
Gigs4Good: You buy the ticket. We bring the music. Nonprofits get the money.
May 27, 2010
Team Up held their inaugural Gigs4Good concert with Victor Shade, DJ B-Mello to raise awareness forSeattle Against Slavery. Our first Gigs4Good concert took place on Thursday May 27 at the Hard Rock Cafe in Seattle. Project Lionheart, SOL and soul singer Dice with special guest host Tilson from The Saturday Knights also made an appearance.
Victor Shade, the new alias from RA Scion of Common Market, and quickly rising producer MTK, blasted onto the music scene with their much talked about album release on April 4. Their music explores the struggle to live and grow into our most frightening and powerful potential, a theme that seems to matched well with the mission of the nonprofit Seattle Against Slavery.
Seattle Against Slavery (SAS) was chosen because of their tireless efforts to eradicate human trafficking and build a community of advocates. Proceeds from the night will go towards Seattle Against Slavery’s (SAS) Seattle Cares Project which will help SAS service provider organization partners better care for trafficked survivors in their transitional housing needs.
Team Up delivered on our mission of putting a great concert together to raise awareness for Seattle Against Slavery at the Hard Rock Café for an accessible cost of $20 online/$25 at the door.
